About my site
Personally, I have never understood a MISSION Statement. Is Art a Mission? well here
are some of my current thoughts.

Most of my Photo's have been taken on my explorations in and around the National parks  in
California, Montana and Wyoming.
I love to be outside and frequently will be found hiking in the National parks.
I am influenced by the expressionist/impressionist school and I love colour and texture. I
frequently use a palette knife even where most would not, for example on a small canvas.
Some of my "canvas'" are of unusual size. Some are quite large.
Primarily my photographs, since 2002, are high quality digital and manipulated in various
ways.
At this time my photographs are limited in size. My original photo's are usually 8x10 or 8.5x
11 because of printer limitations. However, my digital files will support much larger prints
through Art.com's POD.
Also Included in My Gallery are some of my paintings, More of which I will make available
as they are created. I love to paint, both in Acrylic and Oils.
Though demanding oils have a kind of life to them that cannot be rushed. I love everything
about the proces except the time it takes to realize  the finished vision. i have several
ambitious projects simmering and hope to display them soon. One is a Geyser in oils, that is
resting and drying and I will photograph it in December.
I therefore play with acrylic for my more whimsical projects, The ones that I need to
express RIGHT NOW! they are often silly or other wise not serious ART pieces but they
give pleasure none the less.
Currently I have found amusement in Dogs in various costumes. I hope they amuse you as
they do me.

I feel that  Art speaks for it self and each person
brings to the work their own perspective and
experiences.
I don't tell the viewer what to think or feel about
my work.   I feel that art has it's own life and
narrative .
